During one of my servant leadership experiences I was able to support Project Armchair which is an organization whose volunteers read books to children in hospitals and in shelters. My group and I hosted a book fair at Barnes and Noble to raise money for books as well as to accept book donations. In this experience I was a co-leader and I helped with some of the meetings with Barnes and Noble to make the book fair possible. The picture on the left is from our book fair. The picture to the right are some of the books we had donated by my employer, Hy-Vee foods store.

The most significant servant leadership experience happened during Spring 2017. It consisted of my classmates and I raising money for Elk's Camp Grassick. Our goal was to fundraise for scholarships for students to go to the camp. After some bumps in the road, our class decided to host a pasta dinner fundraiser along with another small fundraiser with Great American Fundraising. During this experience I helped with the two groups. I helped to spread the word with the marketing group. I also helped buy and prepare food with the food group. In the end we met our goal to send one student to camp for the whole summer.
